We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Scientist or Ecologist to join and strengthen our multi-disciplinary Environment team based in Brisbane. In this role you will contribute towards the achievement of ecologically sustainable developments on a variety of prominent coastal and land developments including master planned communities, marinas and resorts, public and private infrastructure developments, commercial and industrial uses, residential subdivisions and extractive industries. 

In this role you will be responsible for:

• undertaking assessments of environmental aspects and impacts;
• developing environmental impact management strategies;
• coordinating and managing multidisciplinary projects and working with internal and sub-consultant specialists;
• preparing quality technical reports and communications;
• liaising with clients and government agencies to deliver innovative solutions that meet the client and community expectations; and
• mentoring and developing junior staff.

This opportunity is ideal for a tertiary qualified environmental scientist with three or more years of proven consultancy experience and knowledge of relevant environmental legislation. Specialist technical knowledge in the assessment and management of impacts in at least one environmental field such as waste, noise or air quality would be favourably viewed.   In addition, the candidate will have excellent written communication skills and will enjoy working with others.
